Character history- Nunnally is Lelouch's little sister and the daughter of Emperor Charles zi Britannia and Marianne vi Britannia. (Fanon thought of by Rolo's mun because it honestly sounds like something that would be true: Nunnally and Rolo are actually twins, but Rolo was taken from Marianne at birth by V.V. Nunnally was too young to remember this and Daddy Charlie geassed Marianne to forget in order to cover for V.V.) Nunnally was the 87th in line for the Britannian throne and likely the eleventh princess because Lelouch was the eleventh prince. She was really close to her siblings, particularly Lelouch and Euphemia.

When Nunnally was about seven years old, her mother was assasinated. Marianne had shielded Nunnally with her body, but Nunnally's legs were still hit by bullets, causing her to lose her ability to walk. She also lost her eyesight due to the trauma of watching her mother be killed in front of her. After Lelouch confronted their father about all this, the Emperor sent them to Japan as political hostages. Once in Japan, the siblings were put under the care of Japan's Prime Minister, Genbu Kururugi. Soon after they moved in, they met Suzaku. Nunnally was afraid of Suzaku at first because of the fight he and Lelouch got into during their first meeting but eventually became the first of the siblings to accpet Suzaku as a friend. Privately, Nunnally had a terrible time coping with all the changes that were happening in her life and when she was left on her own while Lelouch was out, she'd throw tantrums and destroy nearly anything she got her hands on. This later changed as she and Lelouch became close friends with Suzaku.

After Britannia invaded and conquered Japan, Lelouch decided it would be best to hide their identities and changed their surname to Lamperouge. They were also taken into the care of the Ashford family, old allies of their mother, who agreed to help hide their secret. To accommodate for Nunnally's disabilities, the Ashford's allowed the siblings to live in a building on campus and assigned Sayoko Shinozaki to them to help Lelouch care for Nunnally. By the time the series began, Nunnally was attending Ashford's middle school and had become very close with Lelouch's classmates.

Through Sayoko, Nunnally learned how to fold origami. She also learned that if one folded 1,000 cranes, they could make a wish and it would come true. Hearing this, Nunnally wanted to fold enough to make a wish for a kinder, gentler world. Lelouch promised her that by the time she could see again, the world would be that way. Soon after, she was reunited with Suzaku, whom Lelouch(as Zero) had saved from excution for being accused of murdering Prince Clovis. She became worried when she heard he was still with the military, but was put at ease when Suzaku told her he was now in the engineering department. When Arthur got into the Student Council clubhouse and got away with Lelouch's Zero mask, Nunnally was the one who informed Milly, Rivalz, and Nina about it by telling them the cat must have gotten away with something important to Lelouch due to how he screamed. Wanting to know what it was that was so important, Milly instigated a hunt for the cat, having Nunnally give somewhat of a description of it of the speaker system of the school. After Lelouch and Suzaku caught Arthur, Nunnally gave them both a kiss since Milly said the winner would get a kiss from the Student Council member of their choice. She told them that they'd have to settle with one from her, "almost a coucil member".

Sometime later, Nunnally was kidnapped by Mao and held hostage in the Ashford Academy sewers. She was saved by Lelouch and Suzaku, with Suzaku's physical adeptness and the clever use of Lelouch's Geass proving to outsmart Mao's planning. It was because of this that Lelouch considered asking Suzaku to be her knight, but that plan was derailed when Euphemia made Suzaku her knight.

Nunnally was later reunited with Euphemia when the latter disguised herself and attended the Ashford Academy anual school festival. The two went to the clubhouse for tea and caught up with each other, Nunnally telling Euphy how she just wanted to always be with Lelouch, before they left to find Lelouch. The three siblings soon had a nice friendly conversation, but were interupted when Euphy's identity was revealed by the wind blowing her hat off. Afraid of their own identity being exposed, Lelouch took Nunnally and hid. From their hiding spot, they heard Euphemia's announcement to build the the "Specially Administrated Zone of Japan". During the ceremony for the opening of it, Nunnally stayed at Ashford, listening to the brodcast over the radio which were cut short. Afterwords, she called Lelouch to ask if she could talk to Euphy, but he couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth of Euphy's death.

During the Black Rebellion, Nunnally was taken care of by the student council members. During the confusion, she was kidnapped by V.V., causing Lelouch to abandon the Black Knights during the battle to attempt to save her. He was unsuccessful in doing so due to being captured by Suzaku and left the Black Knights powerless against Britannian foforces and causing them to be defeated. Meanwhile, Nunnally was taken back to Britannia and reinstated as a Britannian princess, taking back her name of Nunnally vi Britannia.

A year later, it was revealed that not only were Lelouch's memories of her erased, but also everyone she had known at Ashford Academy. They all believed that Rolo was Lelouch's younger sibling instead and always had been. After Lelouch recovered his memories, he came to the conclusion that Nunnally was likely being held hostage by the Emperor and decided that he'd have to try and maintain the illusion that he hadn't regained his memories of her for her own safety. After the death of Viceroy Calares, Nunnally volunteered to take the position, hoping to be reunited with Lelouch in Area 11, still being unaware of his identity as Zero. When Lelouch attempted to "kidnap" her with the help of the Black Knights while she was being transported to Area 11, she revealed to him that she planned to continue Euphemia's plans of the Specially Administrated Zone along with Suzaku's help.

Not having forgotten her kindness towards her friends from Ashford, Nunnally had Kallen transferred to a better facility when the latter was captured and sent back to Area 11, even giving her a dress to wear instead of the ordinary prisoner outfit. They then got into a conversation about Lelouch, but were interrupted by Suzaku, who asked to speak with Kallen alone. Nunnally noticed that he specifically used Kallen's prisoner number instead of her name and also suspected that he was lying to her about Lelouch in order to protect her. During a meeting regarding the redevelopment of the ghettos, Nunnally confronted Miss Rohmeyer about the burdens it placed on the population of the Elevens. She insisted that it be rewritten until it didn't do so after being able to tell from holding her hand that Miss Rohmeyer was downplaying the problems it would cause.

During the second battle of Tokyo, Rolo and Sayoko were sent by Lelouch to retrieve Nunnally, although Rolo had plans to kill Nunnally upon finding her. Sayoko managed to get a hold of the transport that was set to evacuate Nunnally, but the two of them were supposedly killed by Nina's F.L.E.I.J.A. bomb that Suzaku had fired unwillingly when his life was put in danger by Kallen.

During Lelouch's conversation with Marianne and Charles in the World of C, it was revealed that Nunnally's injuries were caused by V.V., who had purposely set her up to be a witness to the murder. The cause of her blindness was actually the result of Charles using his Geass on her to protect her from any possible revenge by V.V. Charles also argued that he had sent the two to Japan to protect them from V.V., whom he had felt he could no longer trust.

Sometime later after Lelouch had become Emperor, Schneizel revealed to Lelouch and Suzaku that Nunnally was alive and well aboard the Damocles. Being supported by Schneizel as the rightful heir to the throne, Nunnally declared herself an enemy to Lelouch and Suzaku. In truth, she was being manipulated by Schneizel, only being given just enough information mixed with some lies about the damage F.L.E.I.J.A. had caused, to ensure she remained Lelouch's enemy. Wanting to cleanse Lelouch's sins herself, Nunnally insisted on being the one to launch F.L.E.I.J.A.

When Lelouch made his way onto Damocles to confront her, she opened her eyes to greet him, leaving him visibly shocked. She asked him if he was going to use his Geass on her now. She then proceeded to explain that the Damocles would become a symbol of hatred among the people and allow them to move forward once it was gone. Because this was the exact same plan Lelouch and Suzaku had come up with, but with himself as the symbol, he was forced to use his Geass on Nunnally, forcing her to hand over the key. Watching helplessly as Lelouch walked down the stairs, preventing her from chasing after him, she called him a coward and liar.

Two months later, Nunnally was held as a prisoner being taken to witness the execution of the U.F.N. leaders. When Suzaku appeared disguised as Zero and impaled Lelouch with his sword, Nunnally could only watch in shock as Lelouch fell and landed near her. Taking his hand, Nunnally realized that this had all been done on purpose and cired hysterically over Lelouch's body as he died. After this, she remained an important diplomatic figure with Suzaku, now Zero, and Schneizel by her side.

Character personality- Nunnally is a very kindhearted and gentle girl. She dislikes war and wishes for a kinder, gentler world without fighting. Nunnally can make friends easily, being very close to the members of the Ashford Student Council, mainly Shirley. She also cares very much for others, especially Lelouch, Suzaku, and Euphemia. While other Britannians referred to the Japanese as "Elevens", Nunnally called them their proper name of "Japanese people".

Despite her slightly naive views, Nunnally does have a serious and determined side. Despite the failure of the previous SAZ, Nunnally was more than determined to continue Euphy's dreams for it. She was also willing to try and stop Lelouch from getting the Key of Damocles.

Digimon personality- Piyomon shares a few things in common with Nunnally's brother, Lelouch. He cares for her safety and will do anything to protect her. He also doesn't like to see Nunnally cry and doesn't want to make her cry. He is, however, very friendly like his tamer and respectful to others. The fact that his tamer is wheelchair bound doesn't bother him at all and he's always more than willing to help her get around if she needs it. Piyomon is also a very good listener, but only listens to those he respects and trusts.

Character abilities- The only real abilities Nunnally has exhibited in series is she seems to be able to figure out what someone is thinking by holding their hand, having shown this on Miss Rohmeyer, Suzaku, and Lelouch.
